Brief History: []

Hip-hop in the mid- to late 1990's started to add a lot of "metal" to the stereotypical gangsta rap artist. Lots of artists starting their own clothing line, showing off their brand. Adding it into music videos and other types of films. This is when the more luxury clothing lines started to take off like Gucci,  Louis Vuitton, and 212 Diamond City.

During the 1990's and beyond the style of Hip-hop was not the same, many artists had their own style. It mainly started out with the Micheal Jordan basketball look because he was every where and the main man on every sport magazine or tv. Where gangsters would get inspired to wear a lot of dark colored long baggy shirts and baggy bottoms with more than one gold or platinum chains around their necks.

Then later down the line in the early 2010s the snap back was added back into the loop with chains and fresh new kicks. Sneakers started to be a big deal as well, kids started trading and selling sneakers to get the best.

A lot more kids and adults are into the whole shoe business as well a lot more trading and selling of expensive shoes to get even more expensive and cooler looking sneakers.
